Strengthen and Support At-Risk Children, Youth, and Families

Children deserve to grow up in safe, stable, and loving environments. However, for many young people, home life is marked by uncertainty, neglect, and trauma. Catholic Charities intervenes at critical moments, ensuring that vulnerable children and struggling families receive the care, guidance, and resources they need to thrive. Our approach focuses on strengthening family bonds whenever possible while also providing alternatives when children need new, nurturing homes. From high-quality preschool programs that lay the groundwork for lifelong learning to out-of-school programs that offer a safe, supportive space for growth, Catholic Charities creates opportunities for children to flourish. We also provide critical support for young families, equipping parents with the tools and resources needed to build strong, stable homes. By investing in children today, we are building the foundation for stronger communities tomorrow.
